Haha, this is my 4 year old border collie, Hoover. He is still a puppy at heart, so we call him E.P. (Eternal Puppy)
He sleeps like this..and he looks like a bunny with his ears up like that! He's so adorable.
Sorry I didn't comment on this before, I did a search on Border Collies and was just faving (since I was supposed to be cleaning my room lol). But I love Border Collies since I have one myself, and this is a truly wonderful photo. I love how the grayscale and the hanging of his upper lip just indicates the lazy day, but the acute ears show that he's always ready for trouble. And he's gorgeous, by the way. Great job with this

Why thank you! You give such nice comments...haha, he sleeps like this all the time, he enjoys his naps upside down. Oh, he is a beautiful dog, thank you, I'll be sure to pass the compliment onto him! I love Border Collies..nice to meet a fellow BC lover! Have a great day!

Awww, why thank you...haha, yes, he definately screams 'Love me!' sometimes..he sleeps like that all the time, it's very cute! Thank you for the comment and favorite, it's very appriciated!
Awwww, how adorable I'd love to have a border collie, I'm trying to find out as much info as I can on them. What are they like? I know they're lively, which is what I'd like in a dog. My aunties dog is a Springer spaniel, full of energy, she's brilliant, I love her! Are they in anyway alike (border collies and springer spaniels)?

Hmmm..in ways, yes. I find springer spaniels to be more hyper, rather than energetic. Border Collies are very energetic, but don't express it in a hyper way. They're more kind of serious about it..haha, well, okay, some, mine is a total dork about it. Border Collies ALWAYS need something to do. They are working dogs, and it's they're favorite thing to do. If you dont have a job for them, chances are they will find one themselves, haha, and you arent going to like it. A lot of Border Collies end up in pounds for this reason, because people cant devote enough time to them and they become destructive. This only happens without proper training though. They are very, very, VERY intelligent. Springer Spaniels are smart, but your aunts dog will seem like a dim-wit compared to a border collie. Mine drives me insane. I cant even spell words anymore because he understands them!!
Hehe..but yes..if you want to have a dog at your heals 24/7, that is very interesting, goofy, smart and entertaining, I would suggest a Border Collie!!
lmao!! Well, I don't work, I'm at home all day and I have alot of patience for training. I know how intelligent border collies are and I've read they prefer mental stimulation than physical stimulation. What sort of things could I do to keep him/her entertained whilst not out on a walk other than learning new tricks or a 'kong' toy filled with food for when I need to do other stuff i.e household chores? (hmmmm, maybe I could get him/her to help!!) What sort of things do you (or your parents) do with Hoover everyday to stop him from destroying things?
